When I worked at Round Table Pizza I was asked to interview an applicant that showed up for an interview which no one knew of.  The applicant was dressed like he had just come from a NASCAR event and acted like he was from the hood.  So I went through the battery of questions and sat in shock as the interview progressed.  Actual samples from the interview:

Me: Thanks for coming in.

Him:  Thanks, man,.  Sorry I was late but I was in traffic court for a speeding ticket.

Me: Oh, Sorry to hear that.  So what position are you looking for?

Him: Delivery Driver.

Me: What are your strengths?

Him: You mean like how much can I bench press?

Me: (pause) No, what strong employable traits do you have?

- At one point he answered his cell phone, making me wait for him to finish.

- After the interview I called my boss and asked him why he was testing me with such a ludicrous applicant.  Turns out the applicant came to the wrong store.  I had to call the other store and let them know that he'd arrived at my store for the interview.

Me: Hi, this is David from the _____ store.  You had a 11 o'clock interview.  He showed up here.

Other Manager: Oh okay.  So, did you hire him?

Me: Let me read you some of these answers...
