My name is Jay D. Hansen.   I have been in the purchasing, service and operations management field for 12 years.  I am currently in a career transition.  My expertise has been in negotiating, budgeting, vendor relations and team development.    My passion is helping people succeed.  I am looking for a purchasing or operation management career in the Martin, St. Lucie and North Palm Beach area.

I have worked for outstanding companies like DirectBuy, Renar Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes and Chili’s Restaurants.

 

 

 

What would you hire me to do?

 

Provide leadership, development and coaching.  Lead operations to operate on a budget, set projects and seek vendor opportunities.

 

Function as a key member of leadership team to focus on key opportunities for the facility and product offerings.

 

I am a strong leadership candidate with knowledge of purchasing and analysis.  Meeting and beating budgets and deadlines.  Using team emphasis on evaluating and developing people to do better on where their strengths lie.

 

My specialties are leading profitable purchasing through negotiating and budgeting in construction.

 

My passion is putting together teams by hiring, training and evaluating to consistently upgrade my staff.

 

You will find that I did a tremendous job operating and creating solutions with every company I’ve been associated.

 

My latest opportunity has been with DirectBuy as a Service and Operations Manager.   I led a Top 20 customer service team with a 5 star experience and product knowledge training.  That resulted in over 700 written testimonials.   We set goals of 20 testimonials per month and on one month had over 60 testimonials for the month.  

Responsible for recruiting  local suppliers, who in year to date 2011 had over $1.2 million wholesale sales through DirectBuy.

 

As a Purchasing manager with Renar and Arthur Rutenberg homes, I set profitable budgets and met and exceeded those by $112,000 in 2007 through vendor negotiations.

 

I am recruiting a winning organization that serves the external and internal customers to produce a value and outstanding experience.    A company with a clear vision and attainable goals.

Greetings,

I'm a native New Yorker and I can hardly wait to relocate to Southern Florida. My main obstacle is seeking employment as I am not able to retire. Im a chemist by trade. Im looking forward to networking and making "it" happen.
